RED BEANS & RICE
12 oz dried red beans
5 cups water
12 oz smoked turkey sausage, cut into chunks
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup chopped celery
¾ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon garlic paste
¼ teaspoon salt
1 bay leaf
Mix all the ingredients together and pour into the CookPot.
Place in the CoolCooker and allow to soak overnight with the refrigerator function, and cook for 8 hours.
Serve with rice of your choice.
